A Woman’s Paris® (AWP®) is an online publication of commentary, criticism, essay, interviews and art featuring stories on popular culture in Francophone countries, France and around the world. Starting in January 2010, the magazine is published weekly and is known for its topical illustrations; its commentaries on popular culture; its fact checking and clean editing; prides itself on cosmopolitan sophistication; and is free to subscribers. Recurring themes are food, style, culture and travel, covering an eclectic array of topics with a French aesthetic. Enduring features include the interview series, “French Impressions,” and “French Lessons,” whimsical vignettes of style. Subscribers have access to the full current issue online, as well as a complete archive of back issues viewable as they were originally published.

A Woman’s Paris received more than 34,000 page hits from February 25, 2012 to August 3, 2012 with over 1,600 viewers worldwide who follow us on WordPress, Twitter and Facebook. Google Analytics® confirm our readers are affluent, educated, between the ages of 25-54, whose interests include: travel, fashion, cosmetics, jewelry, science and nature.

Circulation is 59 percent in the U.S., France 9 percent, Canada 6.8 percent, United Kingdom 4 percent, Australia 3.6 percent, and other countries 17.6 percent. (Google Analytics®.)

Would you like to write for A Woman’s Paris?

We publish original content not published elsewhere before our publication date. Most of our stories were written by previously unpublished writers. New contributors and story proposals are welcome.

Authors: We welcome excerpts from your books, “author-interviews,” and free promotion for our readers.

Writers: After your story idea has been accepted by our editorial team, an editor will contact you to discuss story assignments. Typical stories are about 800-1,500 words in length plus the practical information and links. All writers receive a short profile at the end of their story to promote their personal and professional profiles, Web sites/blogs. We promote all stories individually via social media marketing.
